I am proud to be the Founder and President of Aasha Ka Paila, a non-profit organization founded in 2020 during the pandemic with the aim of helping people in need.
We started with 5 members initially, and now we have over 30 amazing active members. Each year, we carry out projects where we donate clean, wearable clothes, household supplies, menstrual kits, stationery items, etc. Our targeted beneficiaries include homeless families, orphanages, senior homes, street animals, and many more. To date, we have served more than 300 families. Our mission is to help 2000+ families by 2030.
Our funding comes from friends, families, personal savings, and other club collaborations.

I was one of the founding members of the club and got really involved in social projects from the start. After a while, I took on the role of IT Officer, helping manage all the tech stuff.
I organized over 5 hands-on IT workshops for students in rural villages, introducing them to key topics like the internet, coding, and cybersecurity, helping bridge the digital divide.
Now, even though I’m in the US, I’m still serving as the club advisor remotely, staying connected and supporting the team as they keep pushing forward. I enjoyed my time there and learned a lot.

My Passion for Badminton
Badminton has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s more than just a sport for me—it’s something that keeps me grounded and constantly pushing my limits. Since joining NJIT, I’ve stayed undefeated, winning gold in every tournament on campus. On top of that, I’ve had the opportunity to represent NJIT in inter-university competitions—and I’m proud to say I brought home gold there too.
Beyond the wins, badminton has taught me discipline, focus, and how to stay calm under pressure. It’s also just something I genuinely love—there’s nothing better than being on the court, in the zone, with a racket in hand.
I’ve always had this deep love for cameras and capturing moments that tell a story. Instagram : sk_clicks_01
Right now, I’m using a Sony A7III mirrorless camera, and I’ve invested in a couple of GM lenses to get that crisp, cinematic look I’m always chasing. Lately, I’ve been really into creating cinematic videos—whether it’s travel clips, lifestyle shots, or just experimenting with light and movement to give my videos that movie-like feel.
It’s kind of become my creative outlet, and whenever I finish something I’m proud of, I’ll usually post it on my Instagram. There’s just something super satisfying about turning simple moments into something that looks straight out of a film. Checkout this video below.
